WHO WE ARE

THE TRAP KING

Ex rapper Sterling Davis, resident of Atlanta USA, was on a break from a rap tour when he applied for a job at the county shelter scooping kitty litter. He just wanted to stay busy and make a little money, little did he know it was about to change his life. He soon realized he was the only male, and the only black person working to try and help the feral cat communities. Davis realized he had a new calling. He let his band know he would not be coming back on tour. Instead, he was going to devote all his time to cat rescue as the TrapKing.

Since then, Davis has founded the nonprofit organization TrapKing Humane Cat Solutions where he continues to Trap Neuter and Release hundreds of cats, whilst educating local communities on the importance of compassion. His next adventure is to join forces with Let's Be S.M.A.R.T.’s Greek campaign to combat the stray cat crisis.

"I do this because I know what it's like to be voiceless and needing help"

LET'S BE S.M.A.R.T.

Let's Be S.M.A.R.T.  (Successfully Managing Animal Rights Today) is an international animal welfare organization dedicated to providing education and awareness in respect for animals. Originally founded in New York, the organization's Greek campaign is now working endlessly to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats in need through their international adoptions program. Their 5 star cat sanctuary, plus additional foster home, is home to around 80 cats that would not have survived without their help. However, the stray cat crisis in Greece is an ongoing battle, which makes TNR (trap neuter and release) a large part of their work.
